L&J Photography is committed to helping you capture moments of time that will last a lifetime. We BELIVE that God created families, and that the people in our lives are chosen specifically for us, for a reason.
We began very simply; we wanted to be surrounded by pictures and memories of our own families and friends and from that God birthed in both of us a passion for creating memories through pictures.
Our dream is to help you celebrate life by capturing your special moments and giving you a snap shot of the people in your life that you hold dear so that you can remember and enjoy these blessings for a lifetime.
What we like about taking pictures in a natural sitting is just that; there are no uncomfortable clothes that you can't wait to get out of and will probably NEVER wear again. We try to capture the "REAL" you, the you that your family and friends know and love.
Our goal is not to have such unrealistic poses that you would think to yourself, my family never does that or we would never stand or sit that way. It is just you and your family surrounded by the natural, beautiful colors that God has given us. 
An intimate moment
Some of our favorite shots are captured when our subjects aren't looking directly at the camera. There is something intimate and romantic about this shot.

This is our Sunday School teacher, we noticed when looking at her proofs that a cross was showing up on her right cheek. We called her and told her that we now had proof that she was a daughter of the king. We can't explain how this happened other then God has a great sense of humor.

This young lady was part of a mother daughter shoot that we did last summer. They were wonderful to work with and it helped that she was naturally beautiful
This was such a sweet moment; as the mother of this child watched us take these pictures she teared up and said "This is my story..........it makes me remember what I have done right."
That is what we love about photography because it allows us to help you tell you your stories and to create memories that will last a lifetime.
